Well, to get started "Minnie" is my Grandmother who pasted away in 2008. This 1968 Chevelle Malibu was her car which she purchased on 17 Jan 69. The car was produced in Atlanta the 3rd week of December 1968. I purchased this car from Grandma in the mid 80's and it was my first car. I have kept it all these years to my wife's dismay telling her that I would get rid of her before I would my Chevelle...LOL! After 3 PCS moves I reached my limit on watching my car rust away. I decided to hang up the Harley Boots and put my $$$ and effort into restoring this Classic Car.
I started back in November 2011 taking a few parts off here and there until my Best Friend Scott Wood decided he would come help speed this process along. The main restoration started back in Feb 2012 and continues today... I have made some progress and my timeline is set for my birthday this year 25 July to have this car road ready. Not sure if I will make it but it won't be for a lack of trying.
